The objective of the Certified Nurse Assistant Program is to prepare student with the knowledge, skills and abilities essential for the
provision of basic care to residents / patients in health care settings. The program consists of various units of instruction, laboratory
experience, lecture, clinical / externship. Upon satisfactory completion of training, students will be registered with the State as a
Certified Nurse Assistant, receive a Certificate and be qualified to assume entry level positions in a variety of health care settings.

High School Diploma or GED
Clinical / Externship: Students are required to have 16 hours of clinical. Wear nursing uniforms to Clinical / Externship. Clinical hours will be done in a healthcare setting. Three weeks BEFORE clinical, each student must provide the school with the following: 1. Proof of student malpractice insurance 2. TB skin test from local health department 3. Hepatitis vacine from local health department 4. Background record check |
