Certified Nurse Assistant Program (4 weeks)
APPLICATION FORM

The objective of the Certified Nurse Assistant Program is to prepare student with the knowledge, skills and abilities essential for the provision of basic care to residents / patients in health care settings. The program consists of various units of instruction, laboratory experience, lecture, clinical / externship. Upon satisfactory completion of training, students will be registered with the State as a Certified Nurse Assistant, receive a Certificate and be qualified to assume entry level positions in a variety of health care settings. CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED
Clinical / Externship: Students are required to have 16 hours of clinical.
Wear nursing uniforms to Clinical / Externship.
Clinical hours will be done in a healthcare setting.
Three weeks BEFORE clinical, each student must provide the school with the following:
      1. Proof of student malpractice insurance
      2. TB skin test from local health department
      3. Hepatitis vacine from local health department
      4. Background record check
